In order for your jewelry to keep its vibrant color and for you to enjoy it for the longest possible time, there are a few rules that you can follow. Storage: It is best to store them in a jewelry box or in an airtight bag. If the jewelry lies in the sun too long the beads or fimo can fade with time. Wearing: It is best for you to take your jewelry off when you sleep, wash your hands or take showers. Soap and water over long periods could damage the materials. Dirt: Over time dirt can accumulate in-between the beads and Fimo. This can be removed with a moist soft cloth or a damp cotton swab. Avoid using soaps or chemicals to clean the jewelry as some beads and metals can become discolored. Gilded and silver-like: Gilded and silver-like materials will eventually turn a slightly darker color you can brighten them up again with a soft polishing cloth. Do not drop your necklace or bracelet: If you drop it, the fimo pieces could break and the beads might crack. If these measures are complied with I guarantee that you will enjoy your jewelry for a long time. If you have an accident with you piece, please feel free to contact me and I can possibly help with a repair. Have fun with your jewelry. |
